In 2009, God laid upon Pastor Quincy Barnwell’s heart to start a church to reach people who were far from God and lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.   Pastor Quincy Barnwell is the Senior Pastor and founder of Grace Christian Church, known as “GCC”.

 

Grace Christian Church is a church plant which started in 2009 in a home of approximately 15 people which met every week.  On August 9, 2009, Grace Christian Church held its first service in a movie theatre.  Within two weeks on  Friday morning,  Pastor Barnwell  was informed that the movie theatre was going out of business that day,  which led him to find another place to worship for God’s people on the following  Sunday. 

 

On Friday afternoon, the Lord had placed a business owner in his path and welcomed him to start the ministry in his building on Sunday and encouraged him to stay there as long as he desired.  God is an on-time God!

 

The church began to grow and needed more space for ministries. God once again blessed GCC to move to a larger facility in April of 2010. The church continued to grow and the Lord blessed Grace Christian Church to move again in November, 2012 to its present location.

 

Grace Christian Church mission is to continuously reach those who desire to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
